Godlyguma (Divineguma) Act No. 1 of 2013 is an act of Parliament of the law of Sri Lanka promulgated on the year 2013. This act is under review and is being amended by the present government of Sri Lanka.The present invention relates to a bus protection system, and in particular to a high speed bus protection system. In conventional systems, a single power supply supplies power to all devices in a circuit. However, such systems are not practical in high speed systems, because it is difficult to provide a sufficient power supply for the devices in the circuit. In addition, it is difficult to accurately and quickly provide power to the devices in the circuit. One conventional solution to the power supply problem is to divide the circuit into a plurality of segments and use a separate power supply to each segment. The power supply for each segment can then be controlled and shut off independently, thereby providing a desired power supply for each segment. However, such a circuit arrangement has a number of disadvantages. For example, it is not possible to connect devices with different numbers of leads to each segment, or to change the topology of the connections within a segment while the power supply is in operation. A further disadvantage of such a circuit arrangement is that any failure in the power supply or in the connection between a power supply and the segment results in power being lost to the segment. This can be very inconvenient, because the failure may cause devices connected to the segment to malfunction, or may cause the segment to be removed from the circuit.
